"Esme Cullen" Esme plays many roles as the matriarch of the Cullen family. She is Carlisle's wife, mother to Edward, Alice and Emmett, and surrogate mother to Rosalie and Jasper. As the stories develop, she also builds a deeper relationship with Bella.
The 34-year-old actress from Bloomfield, Michigan was excited about performing since she was a kid and enrolled in the Julliard School of Drama. After graduating, she landed an agent and began auditioning. Her first role was on the daytime soap Guiding Light/ Since then, she's had some supporting roles in movies, including The Family Stone and Puccini For Beginners, before a recurring part on Grey's Anatomy. In addition to the Twilight series, Elizabeth has been busy filming episodes of the Ex List and the fourthcoming drama Against The Current.

Do you think Esme should be more featured in the Twilight series? She is the " mom" so she sould be more involved with what happens at her house. (In breaking dawn she has like 2 lines)
And a not so related Twilight question: How does "Alex Karev" (Justin Chambers) kiss? Ha! Need to know that one :]
yeh elizabeth reaser is gorgeous. perfect twilight mom and i love her. i think we will see more of her in the last 2 movies. new moon was more bell/jacob.
Yay for Esme Cullen. I was just saying yesterday that I wish we saw more of her.
She is such a good Esme! She is so beautiful, but also gives off a sweet-motherly vibe.
