Paquin also discusses the constant comparisons between her show and Twilight, downplaying the similarities between the two just because they both feature a certain sub-species of the undead.
"It seems kind of funny...just because two things happen to end up being released around the same time, it's not like we all got together beforehand and had a chat about how we're going to make sure vampires had a comeback," Paquin offers. "But from the way people ask about it, you'd think that we'd all had sort of a sit-down. But it's coincidence, really [laughs]."
Hmm; guess the haters can suck on that. Or bite it. Or whatever the current insult among vamp-fans is these days.

We don't get HBO so I can't even peek in on this one. But this quote by Anna, sounds much more down to earth than some of the other stuff, which has been in print.
Personally, I think all this 'which show is better?' stuff is just hype. So I don't pay much attention to it.
After all, our 'Twilight' hardly needs any more hype, does it? -heh,heh,heh-
